SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central Food Service will provide free summer meals to children and eligible young adults through the Summer Food Service Program beginning June 10 and continuing through Aug. 14. The program is open to all children ages 18 and younger, regardless of income, and to individuals up to age 26 enrolled in a state- or locally recognized educational program for persons with mental or physical disabilities, as recognized by a state or local public educational agency. Meals are available for on-site dining only.
Meal service will be offered Monday through Friday at the following locations:
• Mason County Central High School, 210 W. Broadway St., Scottville — Breakfast served from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon. Breakfast service ends June 30.
• Emanuel Lutheran Church, 501 E. Danaher St., Ludington — Lunch served from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Waterfront Park, 300 S. William St., Ludington — Lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
• Copeyon Park and Splash Pad, 1006 S. Washington Ave., Ludington — Lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This site will operate June 15 through Aug. 14.
• West Shore Community College Tech Center, 3000 N. Stiles Road — Breakfast served from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. This site operates Monday through Thursday only.
All meal sites will be closed July 3 and July 6.
