SHELBY — Mason County Central finished sixth Monday at the sixth West Michigan Conference Rivers Division boys golf jamboree held at Oceana Golf Course.
The Spartans posted a team score of 210. Host Shelby won the jamboree with a 166 team score, led by medalist Titan Carter, who fired a 2-under-par 34.
Mason County Central was led by Bode Etchison and Cole VanderHaag, who each carded 52s. Grayden Etchison and Rocco Krysiak both shot 53 for the Spartans.
Also competing for MCC was Colten Thwaites, who finished with a 62.
Coach Tim Genson’s Spartans will return to action Thursday for the final West Michigan Conference jamboree of the season at Bent Pine Golf Course, hosted by North Muskegon.
