The following is recent police activity in Mason County for Thursday, April 30, 2026:
- 4:38 a.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), a 25-year-old Free Soil man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash after the vehicle he was operating ran off the road, struck a culvert and overturned, US 10 and Stephens Road, Custer Township.
- 11:05 a.m., Ludington Police Department, a 36-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a probation violation following contact with officers, 300 block of East Fifth Street, City of Ludington. He was transported to the Mason County Jail.
- 12:34 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 1:09 p.m., (MCSO), retail fraud, 100 block of North Main Street, Scottville Wesco, City of Scottville. A report was forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office seeking charges against a 25-year-old Scottville man after he allegedly stole a bottle of liquor.
- 10:19 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of the Pere Marquette Highway overpass, Pere Marquette Township.
