Kelly Jo (Abrahamson) Duggan, 54 of Irons, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Born May 4, 1971, in Ludington, Kelly was the daughter of Steven Abrahamson and Penny (Olson) Russell. She graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1989 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Davenport University.

Her professional life was marked by a successful career in accounting and human resources in Lake County. Kelly also fulfilled her entrepreneurial spirit by owning and operating Pizza Barn Plus in Scottville.

Kelly was known for her vibrant, outgoing personality and her adventurous spirit. She was a beacon of happiness and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand.

She was an avid enthusiast of the outdoors. She loved kayaking, camping, and traveling to the Upper Peninsula. Horseback riding, “jeeping,” and spending quality time with her beloved dogs, Zoey and Mac, as well as with her family and friends, were among her favorite activities.

She is survived by her daughter Ashleigh Rose (Brandon Swantek) Duggan; ex-husband and close friend Randy Duggan; mother Penny (Les) Russell; stepmother Robin Abrahamson; half siblings Katie Trivisonno, Vanessa Abrahamson, Maggie Abrahamson, and Steven Abrahamson; aunt Pat (Jeff) Olson-Hoyer; and many nieces and nephews.

Kelly was preceded in death by her father Steven Abrahamson; late stepfather David Rheynard; paternal grandparents Don and Helen Abrahamson; maternal grandparents Don and Rosalie Olson; and many aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be planned at another time.
