Friday, April 24, 2026:
- 12:35 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 47-year-old Three Rivers, Mich. man was arrested for methamphetamine possession following a traffic stop, Sixth Street west of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 4:44 a.m., (Ludington Police Department) a 41-year-old Lincoln Park woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated near Pere Marquette Highway and Harrison Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 6:10 a.m., (LPD) a 35-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault, reckless discharge of a firearm, and possession of a firearm while intoxicated, 600 block of New William Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 7:26 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, LaSalle Road south of Quade Road, Grant Township.
- 9:22 a.m., (MCSO), larceny of a a 6’ tall limestone yard marker, 5700 block of East Shores Drive, Meade Township.
- 10:32 a.m., (MCSO), larceny of a 2001 32-foot Shasta camper trailer, 10000 block of North US 31, Grant Township.
- 7:18 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Evert, Mich. man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 7:40 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of Amber Road, Amber Township.
Saturday, April 25, 2026:
- 12:46 a.m., (MCSO), a 52-year-old Fountain man was arrested on two outstanding failure to appear warrants issued in Mason County following a traffic stop, Spruce and Eighth streets, Sheridan Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 1:15 a.m., (LPD) a 56-year-old Fountain woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, near Ludington Avenue and Jackson Road, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 3:54 a.m., (MCSO), a 21-year-old Afton Center, Ill. man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 and Amber Road, Amber Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 3:37 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Sugar Grove Road, Victory Township.
- 7:38 p.m., (LPD) a 52-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court, near Ludington Avenue and Madison Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 9:36 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Tyndall Road, Branch Township.
- 9:38 p.m., (MCSO), a 40-year-old Kaleva, Mich. woman was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended, methamphetamine possession and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police following a traffic stop, Michigan and Mills streets, Village of Free Soil. “She provided deputies with a fake name and struggled with the deputy during the arrest,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. “She was wanted on failure to appear warrants out of Mason and Benzie counties as well as a criminal bench warrant out of Manistee County.” She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Sunday, April 26, 2026:
- 10:37 a.m., (MCSOO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jackson Road south of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 7:32 p.m., (MCSO), a 26-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for cocaine possession following a traffic stop, Fountain and Custer roads, Sherman Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
