Obituary: Dawn Marie Melchert, 61, of Manistee

Dawn Marie Melchert, 61, of Manistee, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Dawn was born on Dec. 17, 1964, the daughter of Anthony and MaryEllen (O’Hare) Helminiak. In 1983, she graduated from Mason County Central High School. She married Bradley Melchert on September 15, 2000.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee, at 11 a.m., with a luncheon immediately following at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
