79th District Court arraignments, published April 10, 2026

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned on felony charges in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Bennett

Arthur Frederick Bennett, 63, two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) — victim under 13 years old — in one file and three counts of third-degree CSC — victim under 13 years old —  in a second file. Offense dates: Jan. 1, 2020 and July 3, 2011. Agency: Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). Bail: $25,000/cash/surety and $10,000/cash/surety. Preliminary exam: April 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Blackburn

Brian Keith Blackburn, 36, third-offense domestic violence. Offense date: March 31, 2026. Agency: Ludington Police Department (LPD). Bail: $500/10 percent. Preliminary exam: April 15 at 1 p.m.

Byington

Walter Montgomery Byington, 54, delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine. Offense date: April 4, 2026. Agency: LPD. Bail: $500/10 percent. Preliminary exam: April 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Hamilton

Matthew Scott Hamilton, 33, false pretenses $50,000-$1000.000. Offense date: May 14, 2025. Agency: MCSO. Bail: $1,000/10 percent. Preliminary exam: April 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Rodriguez

Anthony Octavio Rodriguez, 24, possession of a narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams. Offense date: Feb. 28, 2026. Agency: MCSO. Bail: $5,000/PR. Preliminary exam: April 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Urban

Clinton Andrew Urban, 34, methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and possession of a narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams. Offense date: April 3, 2026. Agency: LPD. Bail: $500/PR. Preliminary exam: April 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Dekle

Mark Edward Dekle, 38, third-offense domestic violence. Offense date: March 26, 2026. Agency: MCSO. Bail: $250/10 percent. Preliminary exam: April 15 at 1 p.m.
