Kevin Duncil

Kevin D. Duncil, 56, of Scottville passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026.  Kevin was born on December 31, 1969 in Ludington, the son of Eugene and Connie (Goosen) Duncil and graduated from Mason County Central High School with the class of 1989.  On September 17, 1994, he married the love of his life Christine (Harris) in Belfair, Washington and they have celebrated every day together for the last 31 years.

Kevin served his country with the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm of the Persian Gulf Conflict, and served with the Army for eight years.  Following the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on our nation, Kevin felt called once again to serve his country with the United States Air National Guard, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom until his retirement.  Following his dedicated service to our country, Kevin returned home to Mason County where recently he worked as the night auditor for Best Western in Ludington.

Kevin enjoyed playing video games, participating in DnD campaigns, collecting dice, painting miniatures, and watching anime.  One of the greatest aspects of Kevin was his ability to “spin-a-yarn” telling a story or sharing a joke with his friends and family.  He always looked for ways to enjoy every day!

Kevin will be greatly missed by his wife Christine; his children Skylar Duncil of Scottville, Violette Duncil and Sara Duncil (fiancé Nick Bone) all of St. Louis, Mo.; his mother Connie Duncil of Scottville; his brothers Randy Duncil of Ludington, and Eugene Duncil Jr. of Free Soil; his sister Dana (Chris) Christofferson of Ludington; and his nieces and nephews Genette, David, Alexandria, and Cody; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.  Kevin was preceded in death by his father Eugene Duncil Sr.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place on Wednesday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wyman Funeral & Cremation Services – Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville with a short ceremony at 2 p.m. followed by graveside services at Fountain Cemetery.
