NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Free Soil Township Zoning Board of Appeals

The Free Soil Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at the Free Soil/Mead Township Fire Hall, 2613 E. Michigan St., Free Soil, MI 49411, on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of the hearing is to consider the approval or denial of the following non-use variance requests, seeking relief from lot, yard and area requirements of Article 10 of the Free Soil Township Zoning Ordinance:

Case No. 1: Randy Zuchowski, Property ID No. 53-005-503-002-00, 4069 Shuh Shuh Ga Ln, Lot 2 and 3 and East ½ of Lot 4, Block 3 of Indian Hill Resort, seeks relief from setback requirements to adjacent property owner to the west (Owner: Patrick Oniel) and Shuh Shuh Ga Ln in order to construct an 18-foot by 30-foot garage.

Case No. 2: Randy Zuchowski, Property ID No. 53-005-504-001-00, Lot 1, Block 4 of Indian Hill Resort (corner of Reek Road and Ottawa Road), seeks relief from setback requirements to adjacent property owner to the east/northeast (Owner: Kathryn M. Lelmaugh, Lot 2, Block 4 of Indian Hill Resort) and west/southwest (Reek Road) in order to construct a 30-foot by 40-foot metal storage building.

Meetings and work sessions of the Zoning Board of Appeals are open to the public. Interested parties are encouraged to attend. Written comments regarding these requests may be submitted prior to the hearing to:
