Scholarships available
EAST LANSING — Mason County youth are invited to enroll in 4H Exploration Days to be held June 24-26 on the campus of Michigan State University. Open to all youth ages 12–19, including those who are not currently involved in 4-H, Exploration Days, the program offers hands on learning, personal growth, and a taste of campus living.
Participants stay in MSU residence halls, learn from 4-H staff and volunteers, and choose from more than 100 interactive sessions focused on science, technology, health, agriculture, arts, and more. Youth explore new interests, build independence, and connect with peers from around the state while discovering what a college experience can look like.
The cost is $250 but scholarships are available for local families through the MSU Extension Office of Mason County located on the campus of West Shore Community College (see below).
Registration is now open, and sessions fill quickly. Families are encouraged to register early and ask about scholarship opportunities.
