Obituary: Detrich Charles Bidwell, 58 of Ludington

Detrich Charles Bidwell, 58 of Ludington, passed away in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Born on November 13, 1967, in Ludington, Detrich was the son of Maynard J. and Charlene A. (Marrison) Bidwell. He graduated from Ludington High School, class of 1986.

Detrich was the owner of DB Handyman Services.

He is survived by his daughters Alexandra D. Bidwell and Echo B. Carrico; two grandsons Joey and Logan Carrico; his mother Charlene; sister Ann (Larry) Larr; five brothers Steven Bidwell, Benjamin Bidwell, Douglas (Rachel) Bidwell, Andy Bidwell, and Maynard (Stormy) Bidwell Jr.; and many other family and friends.

Detrich was preceded in death by his father, Maynard, in 2011.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled.
