MCC forensics team takes third place at MSU invite

EAST LANSING — The Mason County Central High School Forensics Team competed at the Spartanvitational Tournament last weekend at Michigan State University. Seven MCC made the semifinal round and the Spartans came home with a third place trophy for its division.

Competing were Darnel Hunter in poetry, Richard Bowen in oratory, Trinniti Arnold in impromptu speaking, Adison Thorne in storytelling, and the two teams in duo interpretation: Isabella Snell and Maggie Robel; and Bethany Biemer and Andy DeLeon.

The Spartans’ next competition will be on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Grand Rapids Christian High School.
