LUDINGTON — A 21-year-old man was sentenced to prison in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, Feb. 17, for two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and one count of child sexually abusive activity.
Adelio Cuate-Hernandez pleaded guilty to the charges Dec. 16, 2025. Hernandez was sentenced Tuesday by Judge Susan K. Sniegowski to concurrent prison terms of 126 months (10 and a half years) to 40 years and 95 months (almost eight years) to 20 years. Hernandez received credit for 464 days served in jail.
One count of using a computer to commit a crime and one count of third-degree CSC were dismissed.
The date of the crime was Aug. 1, 2024, court records state, and Hernandez was arrested by the Ludington Police Department.
