MUSKEGON — Ludington’s bowling team split against Montague Monday night at Sherman Lanes. The girls defeated the Wildcats 16-14 while the boys lost 30-0.
“Our girls have been working hard the last few meets and it shows in their scores,” said LHS Coach Maggie Bates. “The boys bowled well but Montague can be a tough team. We also bowled with a bowler down due to illness and that plays a big part in team scores.
“We have just over two weeks until regionals and I’m hopeful the illness will have worked its way out so that our teams can keep competing at a good level.”
