The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026:

• 10:28 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Taylor Road and Navajo Trail, Branch Township.
• 10:30 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle rollover crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
• 7:17 p.m., (MCSO), retail fraud, Wesco, North Main Street, City of Scottville. A bottle of vodka was stolen from the store.

Friday, Jan. 30, 2026:

• 11:23 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Indian Trail near Chauvez Road, Eden Township.
• 6:55 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Quarterline Road south of Nurnberg Road, Grant Township.
• 5:56 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
• 7:25 p.m., (MCSO), a 76-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch, Rasmussen Road near Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026:

• 12:09 a.m., (MCSO), a 21-year-old Fountain man was arrested for domestic assault following a 911 call reporting an assault, 6500 block of East Beech Street, Sheridan Township. During the investigation, a 23-year-old Hart man was arrested after deputies found out he was wanted on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Lake County. They were  lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 8:03 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Brandy Lane north of Lancer Lane, Pere Marquette Township.
• 9:32 p.m., (MCSO), a 62-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license revoked following a traffic stop, Ludington Avenue and Rowe Street, City of Ludington.
• 9:44 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 60-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on two outstanding failure to appear warrants, 900 block of North Emily Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026:

• 6:34 p.m., (MCSO), a 55-year-old Custer man was arrested for domestic assault following a 911 call reporting an assault, 4600 block of East Deer Cove Road, Eden Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 6:44 p.m., (MCSO), a 31-year-old Custer man was arrested on two outstanding failure to appear warrants issued in Mason County, 2300 block of East US 10, Village of Custer. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 8:47 p.m., (LPD), a 39-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two outstanding failure to appear warrants, 600 block of East Filer Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
