Robert “Mike” Brockwell
Robert Michael “Mike” Brockwell, 57, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Ludington. Born on February 1, 1968, in Lansing, Mike was known for his gregarious, curious nature and was well-liked in his community.
Mike graduated from Sexton High School in 1986 and spent many years at Whitehall Industries in Ludington, where he was respected for his work ethic and camaraderie. He was passionate about nature, which was reflected in his hobbies that included hunting and photography. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed cooking and baking. These interests allowed him to connect with others and share his love for the outdoors and culinary arts.
Mike is survived by his mother, Donna (DuCap) Brockwell; son, Brandon Post; daughter, River Brockwell; sister, Elizabeth Brockwell-Tillman; and River’s mother, Jana Rose. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lewis Brockwell.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held in the summer, where family and friends can gather to honor his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
