SCOTTVILLE — Ravenna dominated the court against Mason County Central Thursday, Jan. 15, defeated the Spartans 58-27 in West Michigan Conference Rivers Division play.

“Tonight we let the pressure get to us early and we just couldn’t get the flow going our way,” MCC Coach Brent Lyon said. “Ravenna has a very aggressive trapping press and we worked on getting through it for two days. In those two days we had six players one day and five players the next due to being out of town and illness. It’s hard to prep for a game like this with so little participation.

“We never gave up and fought until the end. We need to find a way to get the ball in the basket during a game. At practice we are cooking and at games we are off. I need to find a way to get that practice feel on the court during the game.”
