HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Ludington hosted the Holton Devils on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at Stix/Park Lanes. Both teams dropped their meet; girls 27-3 and the boys 20.5-9.5.
“In the girls match we were bowling 2 bowlers down due to illness so that makes it hard to win a match for sure,” said LHS Coach Maggie Bates.”The girls who we did have did their best and bowled very competitively against Holton.”

“In the boys meet we were down 10- 0 after out Baker games,” Bates said. “However, after the first individual game we came back and 7.5 points so we were down 11.5-7.5. in the second game Holton just bowled extremely well and came away with the win.”

“I have no doubt that if we would have had a full team for the girls the score would have been a little different for them. As for the boys, they had the best day in the lanes so far this season. We still have a little ways to go with our season and I’m excited to see how these teams finish the year.”
