Robert “Bob” Olsen, 79 of Ludington, formerly of Free Soil, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Lake Michigan Senior Living.
He was born August 13, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of the late Edwin and Frances (Cooper) Olsen.
Bob was known for his generous spirit, often painting houses for those who needed some help. A die-hard University of Michigan fan, Bob’s enthusiasm for his team was contagious. He also found solace and joy in reading, a hobby that kept him engaged and informed.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife Rev. Susan (Wolf) Olsen.
