LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank recently took advantage of the Columbus Day federal holiday to bring all employees together for a full day of learning, collaboration, and giving back to the community under the theme “One Team, One Mission: Learn, Connect, Impact.”
The day featured a training session titled “Winning Together: The Formula for HighPerforming Teams” led by guest speaker Steve Lowisz, entrepreneur, author, TEDx and keynote speaker, educator, and coach specializing in talent, personal development, and business leadership.
Lowisz is the founder and CEO of the Qualigence Group of Companies, including the Recruitment Education Institute and the Lowisz Leadership Institute.
In addition to professional development, the event celebrated team members marking significant work anniversaries in 2025, engaged employees in fun-filled team-building games, and included drawings for exciting prizes.
The day concluded with a community impact initiative: employees worked together to assemble 2,000 care kits for local homeless shelters across the six counties West Shore Bank serves.
“This event was about more than training—it was about strengthening our culture, recognizing our people, and making a tangible difference in our communities,” said Ray Biggs, president and CEO. “One Team, One Mission reflects our commitment to learning, connecting, and creating impact together.”
