Professor Nagle makes History “Ax”cessible for Ludington Lumbering Days

LUDINGTON — The Mason County District Library will host West Shore Community College Professor of History Mike Nagle for an exploration of Ludington’s logging luminaries. on Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Ludington library, 217 E. Ludington Ave.

Nagle, who has written books on Mason County lumber era legends Eber Brock Ward and Justus Stearns, will highlight some of the big names in Mason County’s history. The event is part of the inaugural Ludington Lumber Days that takes place Oct. 3-5.

Light refreshments and coffee will be available at the library. The program is free.
