LUDINGTON — A 13-year-old Ludington boy was charged with second-offense minor in possession of alcohol “following a suspicious situation call” in the 200 block of East Ludington Avenue Saturday, Sept. 6, at 4:20 p.m., according to Capt. Michael Haveman of the Ludington Police Department.
“The male was turned over to the juvenile court,” said Capt. Haveman.
In an unrelated case, a 16-year-old Ludington boy was charged with transporting open intoxicants, minor in possession of tobacco, minor in possession of alcohol, curfew violation and operating without insurance following a traffic stop near Ludington Avenue and Emily Street Saturday, Sept. 6, at 2:18 a.m., according to Capt. Haveman. He was turned over to the juvenile court.

- 10:39, (LPD), a 58-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop near Loomis and Emily streets, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 10:59 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
- 11:09 p.m., (LPD), a 38-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a parole violation following a call of “an unwanted person,” 100 block of East Filer Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025:
- 8:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Lakeshore Drive north of Dawson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 11:34 p.m., (MCSO), a 43-year-old Grand Rapids woman was arrested on two outstanding Mason County failure to appear warrants following a traffic stop, US 31 and the Chauvez Road overpass, Pere Marquette Township. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
