Michael James Woodruff, known affectionately as Mike, passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 71, in Fountain. Born on February 22, 1954, in Greenville, he lived a life marked by dedication to his family and a passion for his interests.

Mike graduated from high school in 1972 and went on to earn an associate degree from Lansing Community College. His professional life was defined by his work as an HVAC technician and later at Meijer, where he was known for his reliable and hardworking nature.

Outside of work, Mike was an enthusiast of motorcycling and boating, always eager to be on the move or on the water. He had a knack for fixing things around the house and could often be found with a tool in hand to make improvements. Music also played a significant role in his life, and he loved playing guitar, a hobby that brought him great joy and relaxation.

He is survived by his sons, Aaron Woodruff and Brandon Ostrander; and his niece, Jaime Canavan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Earl and Patricia Joanne (Long) Woodruff; and sister, Sheryl (Woodruff) Canavan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Grace Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
