Hugh Ruggero
Hugh “Hughie” Martin Ruggero, 69, of Ludington, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Hugh was born June 7, 1956, in Detroit, the son of the late Samuel and Sara (Adams) Ruggero. On September 18, 1976, Hugh married Kathy Ann Bolter and they shared over 48 years together.
Being a jack-of-all-trades, Hugh wore many different hats. He worked in construction, roofing, and was an electrician. He retired in 1998 from Pallet Recycle.
Hugh was a tell it like it is type of person. He didn’t sugar-coat. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and construction. Above all else, Hugh loved spending time with family.
Hugh is survived by his wife Kathy Ruggero; daughters Sheila (Cliff) Lawson and Stacey (Jason) James; grandchildren Clifford, Dale, Gabe; siblings Brenda (Terry) Smith, Sam, Bob, Terri, Mike, Maria, Tom (Brandy) Ruggero, and Danny (Lynann) Ruggero; and many other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Sam and Sara, Hugh was preceded in death by his brother Joe.
