SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central celebrated its homecoming Friday evening with a varsity football victory over Hesperia 59-0. Alexis Sanford was crowned homecoming queen while Justin Resendiz was named homecoming king. Sanford is the daughter of Kate and Jim Sanford and Resendiz is the son of Laurie and Secundino Resendiz. The evening began with a parade through downtown Scottville and up North Main Street and then to Spartan Community Field. Spirit week for MCC High School concludes Saturday with a dance at the school.
