SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP — A 32-year-old Fountain man was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 29, around 3:30 a.m. in the 6500 block of East Borowski Road “following a 911 call reporting an assault and a person destroying the home,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The man, who was charged with domestic violence and malicious destruction of property, was lodged in the Mason County Jail,.

Monday, Sept. 28, 2026:
- 3:48 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.
- 8:50 p.m., a 72-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, US 31 and Johnson Road, Amber Township.
Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026:
- 8:33 a.m., a 34-year-old Custer man was arrested on an outstanding friend of the court warrant issued in Kent County, 4800 block of East Barothy Road, Branch Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 5:04 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.
- 8:23 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 9:02 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road east of US 31, Sherman Township.
