Richard Lemke
Richard Clyde Lemke, 67, of Ludington, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer and pneumonia.
Richard was born on October 9, 1958, the son of the late Clyde and Marjorie Lemke. He enjoyed spending time at the Marina watching the Badger come in and out of port. He also spent time with his family playing bingo. For many years he was employed as a maintenance worker at TenderCare of Ludington.
Richard is survived by his sister, Sheryl Baker; uncle, Russell Lemke; niece, Krystal (RJ Brinks) Roebuck; nephew, Kevin Baker; great nieces and nephews, Alex and Tiffani VanDrunan (Lilly and Luna), Bailey DeFrang, Emi Zuidema, Jessica (Cody) Smith (Eloise), and Jocelyn and Savanna Fitzpatrick.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cindy Lemke; aunt, Mary Lemke; brother-in-law, Edward Baker; and niece Jody Kreiss.
At this time, cremation has taken place and no public services are planned.
