Public Notice: Mason County seeks proposals for realtor services

Mason County is accepting proposals from qualified real estate professionals/realtors to provide brokerage and marketing services for the sale of the county-owned office building at 102 E. Fifth St., Scottville.

Services will include listing and advertising the property, coordinating showings, communicating with prospective purchasers, receiving and presenting offers, assisting with negotiations and transaction documents, and coordinating with the county, its legal counsel and the successful purchaser through closing.

Proposals should include the firm or realtor’s contact information; qualifications and experience with commercial real estate sales, particularly government or public-sector properties; the proposed commission or fee structure and any additional costs; and any other relevant information.

The county will evaluate proposals based on qualifications, relevant experience, fee or commission structure and the proposer’s ability to successfully market and sell the property. Mason County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, request additional information and negotiate terms with the selected proposer.
