The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, Aug. 3, 2026:
- 7:17 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Hawley Road east of Custer Road, Eden Township.
- 2:54 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township. Following the investigation, a 66-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license revoked.
- 5:30 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 50-year-old Ludington man was contacted regarding a complaint of a personal protection order violation, 800 block of Brother Street, City of Ludington. He was found to have an outstanding warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court for aggravated assault. He was arrested and lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 8:39 p.m., (MCSO), a 48-year-old Baldwin man was arrested on three outstanding criminal bench warrants issued in Mason County, US 10 and Tyndall Road, Branch Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 10:35 p.m., (LPD), a 59-year-old Ludington man was stopped for traffic violations near Sixth and Sherman streets, City of Ludington. He was cited for no proof of insurance.
