The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:
Friday, July 31, 2026:
- 6:43 a.m., alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
- 1:35 p.m., assault, 100 block of South Reinberg Road, City of Scottville. The complainant reported being assaulted early in the morning by an unknown male. The case remains under investigation.
- 3 p.m., a 49-year-old Wellston woman was arrested on an outstanding Mason County failure to appear warrant, US 31 and Countyline Road, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026:
- 1:38 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Brye Road, Amber Township.
Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026:
- 1 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 north of Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township.
