BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A 42-year-old Branch man was arrested for fleeing and eluding police and driving while license revoked after he led a Mason County sheriff’s deputy on a chase while riding a motorcycle Saturday night, Aug. 1, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“At 10:03 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, a Mason County deputy attempted a traffic stop on a 2002 Kawasaki motorcycle on Gibson Road and First Street in Mason County’s Branch Township,” said Sheriff Cole. “The cycle failed to stop and fled northbound on Gibson to US 10. The cycle then turned north of Taylor Road and onto a two-track, before coming back out to Taylor Road. The motorcycle turned into Walhalla Shores when the driver was taken into custody.”
He lodged in the Mason County Jail.
