Early in-person voting is underway in Mason County for the Tuesday, Aug. 4, primary election, giving registered voters the opportunity to cast their ballots before Election Day.
Early voting began Saturday, July 25, and continues through Sunday, Aug. 2. Michigan voters approved early in-person voting as part of a constitutional amendment, allowing registered voters to cast a ballot at designated early voting sites before Election Day.
Mason County voters will cast their ballots at one of two early voting sites, depending on where they live.
Early voters who reside in the City of Ludington, regardless of ward, and Pere Marquette Charter Township must vote at Ludington City Hall, 400 S. Harrison St., Ludington.
Early voters who reside in the City of Scottville and all other Mason County townships must vote at Custer Township Hall, 1950 E. US 10, Custer Township.
