LUDINGTON — A 35-year-old Ludington man was arrested by a Ludington police officer for probation violation in the area of Rath Avenue and Timber Lane Friday, July 24, at 11:37 p.m., following a “report that he was lying in the middle of the roadway and not responding,” said Ludington Police Chief Chris Jones.
“The officer found the subject to be intoxicated and in violation of his probation.” He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

- 8:13 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 71-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court, 800 block of East Loomis Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 9:20 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, eastbound US 10 off-ramp from northbound US 31, Amber Township.
Saturday July 25, 2026:
- 1:07 p.m., (MCSO), three-vehicle crash causing an injury, Lakeshore Drive and Jagger Road, Hamlin Township.
- 1:23 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.
- 1:28 p.m., (LPD), a 32-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, Sixth Street and Pere Marquette Highway for an incident that occurred in the 200 block of East Danaher Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 4:36 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Scottville Road south of Conrad Road, Custer Township.
- 9:40 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Sugar Grove road, Victory Township.
- 9:50 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
