LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank’s 2026 Rhythm & Dunes summer concert series begins this Saturday, July 25, with a free evening of live music, food and fundraising at Waterfront Park.
The first concert will feature Mark Blomsteel & The Motor City Drive, a Michigan-based band that blends country, rock and soul. The Mason County Central High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Brian Parent, will open the evening with a performance at 6 p.m. Food trucks will begin serving at 5 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
The second and final concert of the series will take place Saturday, Aug. 1, featuring Michigan rock band Jedi Mind Trip. The Ludington High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Keith Kuszynski, will open that concert.
Rhythm & Dunes is planned, organized and underwritten by West Shore Bank and its employees. The annual fundraiser benefits high school band programs in Mason County through donations, food vendor proceeds and other contributions. Since the concert series began, it has raised nearly $160,000 for local school music programs.
Food vendors scheduled for this year’s concerts include Cluck Bucket, TC Taco, Lakeside Wiener Wagon, Waffle Stix, KRAVE, Potatohead, Underground Cookie Club, R&T’s Colassal Kitchen, Lela’s Kettle Corn, The Wooden Paddle Pizza & Wings and Grand Traverse Pie Company.
