ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Mason County Land Bank Authority is accepting sealed bids for the demolition of structures and site clearing at 823 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, Mich. The project includes complete demolition and removal of all structures, foundations and debris, along with miscellaneous site clearing, backfilling and utility capping.

Sealed bids will be received until 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Mason County Treasurer’s Office, 304 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, MI 49431. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the deadline. Bid envelopes should be addressed to the Mason County Land Bank Authority, Attn: Andrew R. Kmetz IV, Chairman, and clearly marked:

“BID PROPOSAL FOR: BUILDING DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARING, 823 N. BENSON RD., FOUNTAIN, MI 49410.”

The successful bidder must provide bid security equal to 5% of the base bid in the form of a bid bond or cashier’s check within five days of bid acceptance. Personal checks will not be accepted. The Mason County Land Bank Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, is not obligated to accept the lowest bid, and may waive informalities. All bids shall remain valid for 60 days following the bid due date.
