
Yvette Maneke
Yvette (Vining) Maneke, 83, of Ludington, formerly of Kalamazoo, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Butterworth in Grand Rapids. Yvette was born on Nov. 14, 1942, in Kalamazoo, to the late Kamita Vining and Elizabeth Volenski and adopted and raised by Mabel Vining. She attended and graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School Class of 60.
On Sept. 16, 1961, she married Roger Maneke and they resided in Ludington. They were married 48 years before Roger passed away in December 2009.
Yvette held various jobs in her life including running the Country Corners Daycare which she loved before her retirement. She also enjoyed training horses in her younger years and in later years attending and being a member of the West Michigan Antique car club. Later in life she enjoyed her family and her many pets she had. Her final years were spent in her chair with her tablet playing games and buying various items on Temu for family members.
Yvette is survived by her sons, Jeffery (Michelle) and Bruce (Heather); daughter, Janielle Maneke, grandchildren Krystle, Bruce (Krista) and Bethany along with David (Rachel), Ashley, Andrea (Kevin) and Christopher; great grandchildren Zoey and Lily, MaryEllen, Penelope and Paisley, Amelia and Avery and Lance and his twin brothers due in September. Siblings Earl (Carol) Vining and Sherman Vining along with nieces and nephews and Mary and the late Al Padron families who she considered family.
Yvette was preceded in death by her husband Roger, parents Kamita and Mabel, brother Errol and sister Sharon.
At this time per Yvettes wishes there will be no services. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
