PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 21-year-old Hart woman was treated for “non-life-threatening injuries” after the vehicle she was riding in attempted a left turn into a private drive when it was struck head-on Wednesday, June 17, shortly after 10 p.m. on US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Wednesday, June 17, 2026:
- 7:35 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Meisenheimer Road, Riverton Township.
Thursday, June 18, 2026:
- 1:36 a.m., (MCSO), a 28-year-old Flint man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 and Jackson Road, Pere Marquette Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 1:58 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Broadway Avenue west of Main Street, City of Scottville.
- 10:14 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 56-year-old Ludington woman was contacted in the 600 block of South Washington Street in reference to a welfare check. She was found to be highly intoxicated and cited for public intoxication. She was turned over to the Mason County Jail without incident, according to Ludington Police Chief Chris Jones
