LUDINGTON — A 31-year-old man currently incarcerated in prison for conspiracy to commit armed robbery and several other convictions added another conviction to his lengthy criminal record when he pleaded guilty to delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine Monday, June 15, in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court.
Travis William Malone pleaded guilty to the charge and fourth-offense habitual offender right before a jury trial in his case was set to begin Monday.
Malone entered his plea last-minute with no sentence agreement, said Mason County Prosecuting Attorney Beth Hand. He is scheduled for a sentence hearing Aug. 4 at 9:20 a.m., according to court records.
Malone was sentenced to prison last April for convictions of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, conspiracy to commit second-degree home invasion, methamphetamine/ecstasy possession, felony firearm and third-offense habitual offender.
He pleaded no contest to those crimes Dec. 5, 2025. He was sentenced by Judge Susan K. Sniegowski to the following concurrent prison terms:
- 132 months (11 years) to 40 years;
- 132 months to 30 years;
- 129 months to 30 years;
- 34 months to 20 years;
- 24 months
He is incarcerated in the Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center in Jackson, Mich., according to Michigan Department of Corrections records.
