MUSKEGON — Miss Ludington Area 2026 Ashley McPike will compete for the title of Miss Michigan 2026 during the Miss Michigan Scholarship Program Preliminary Competition June 18-20 at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon.
The finals night coronation is scheduled for June 20. Tickets are available at missmichigan.org.
The Miss Ludington Area Board of Directors will host a send-off party for McPike Friday, May 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ludington branch of the Mason County District Library.
Community members are invited to meet McPike and learn more about her community service initiative, “Sparking their Futures,” which focuses on getting youth involved in engineering.
McPike will compete against 29 contestants from across Michigan in categories including private interview, on-stage question, lifestyle and fitness, talent and evening gown. Scholarship opportunities are also available through the competition.
Miss Ludington Area is an official preliminary competition to Miss Michigan and Miss America. The next Miss Ludington Area Program is scheduled for Dec. 20, 2026.
