WHITEHALL — Mason County Central turned in its best West Michigan Conference Rivers Division jamboree score of the season Thursday at Bent Pine Golf Course in the final conference jamboree of the year.
Ravenna won the team title with a 160, followed by host North Muskegon with 161. Shelby shot 175, while MCC finished with a 180. Hart carded 184 and Hesperia finished with 190.
Shelby’s Titan Carter earned medalist honors with a 35.
The Spartans were led by Lane Sterley with a 40. Bode Etchison and Colten Thwaites each shot 46, while Grayden Etchison added a 48. Cole VanderHaag finished with a 49 and Rocco Krysiak shot 52.
“I was really proud of our boys having our best jamboree score of the season, 180,” Central coach Tim Genson said.
Mason County Central will next compete in the Division 3 regional tournament Tuesday, May 26, at Kent City.
