LUDINGTON — The Ludington Orioles remained unbeaten in West Michigan Conference Lakes Division play Tuesday night with an 8-0 victory over the Orchard View Cardinals at Oriole Field.
Ludington improved to 9-5-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play under Coach Kris Anderson.
Claire Keith, Eloise Kwietniewski, Grace Forfinski, Hestyn Stowe and Norah Kiessel all scored for the Orioles. Stowe led the offensive attack with three goals while Forfinski added two goals. Keith, Kwietniewski and Kiessel each added a goal.
Kwietniewski recorded two assists while Stowe added two assists. Keith, Forfinski and Delaney Jeruzal also contributed assists, with Jeruzal finishing with two.
The Orioles controlled play throughout the match, recording 15 shots on goal while limiting Orchard View to one shot.
Cambria Britton earned the shutout in goal for Ludington.
Ludington will host Fremont on Friday in another West Michigan Conference Lakes Division match.
