LUDINGTON — Ludington High School has announced the recipients of the American Citizenship Award for Trimester 2 of the 2025-26 school year.
The award, presented in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, recognizes students who demonstrate strong character, leadership and commitment to their school and community.
Recipients are selected based on their actions and attitudes, including positive engagement with classmates, participation in school and community activities, and a demonstrated understanding of civic responsibility.
Students chosen for the award receive a certificate, medallion and pin. Each recipient also receives $25 in gift cards from Culver’s, with support from the Ludington Police Department.
Selections are made through a collaborative process involving school staff, including teachers, administrators, counselors and office personnel.
The program is supported by Ludington High School staff, the Ludington Police Department and Culver’s.
The following students received the award for Trimester 2:
- Ninth grade: Jayden Hernandez-Mendez, Cole Hansen
- 10th grade: Nirja Patel, Finn Flannery
- 11th grade: Jeremiah Gaultney, Hailey Zupin
- 12th grade: Greg Schrader Jr., Connor Chaney
