MUSKEGON — Ludington’s varsity girls soccer team stayed unbeaten in West Michigan Conference play Monday with a 4-0 win over Muskegon Oakridge.
The Orioles improved to 4-5-1 overall and 3-0 in conference action behind a balanced offensive effort and a strong defensive showing.
Eva Hatch opened the scoring for Ludington, while Addison Torrez added two goals. Hestyn Stowe also found the net and contributed two assists. Eloise Kwietniewski and Avra Bowman each recorded an assist.
Ludington controlled play throughout, limiting Oakridge to just two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Cambria Britton made two saves to preserve the shutout.
Ludington returns to action Wednesday, hosting Ravenna in another West Michigan Conference matchup.
