It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Armando Luevano, who passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 57.

Armando was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who made his home in Ludington. He is survived by his loving wife, Trinidad, and his children, Joshua Luevano, Amanda (Matthew) Kelso, and Abbygayle (Trey) Luevano, and Valentin (Marisela) Vela III. He was a proud grandfather to Noah Luevano, Dimitrius Luevano, Leylani Cruz, Elias Kelso, and Lillian Kelso, who brought him immense joy and happiness.

Those who knew Armando will remember his warmth, his social spirit, his love for life, and the dedication he had for his family. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Armando will be remembered most for the love he had for his family. He cherished spending time with them, creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever. He found peace and happiness in gardening, nurturing not only his plants but also the relationships around him. Armando also had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, where he could relax and make lasting memories with those he loved.

Armando had a gift for conversation—he loved to talk, connect with others, and never met a stranger. His social nature and warm presence made everyone feel welcome. He also took pride in his appearance, always enjoying dressing well and looking his best wherever he went.

Armando is also survived by his siblings, Rogelio Luevano, Diana Lazo, Ruben Luevano, David Hererra, Domingo Luevano, and Enedelia Luevano.

Armando was preceded in death by: his parents, Domingo and Maria Luevano Balderas; and sister, Lisa Castillo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 214 South Peach Avenue, Hart, with Fr. Juan Palomar presiding. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 10 am.. until time of services at the church. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington.
