WHITEHALL — The Orioles traveled to Whitehall fresh off a 7-0 win over Montague on Monday evening and followed it up with another strong performance, shutting out the Vikings while recording 14 shots on goal during a West Michigan Conference Lakes Division meet.
Hestyn Stowe notched a hat trick, giving her five goals over the past two games. Eloise Kwietniewski, who scored twice against Montague, added another goal, while Eva Hatch and Grace Forfinski also found the net for the Orioles.
Addison Torrez and Delaney Jeruzal each recorded an assist, and Forfinski added three assists.
Goalkeepers Cambria Britton and Kaia Jones combined for the shutout, making two saves on four shots by the Vikings.
The Orioles will face Mona Shores on Saturday in a nonconference matchup.
