VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College’s HumanKind Series will present “West Shore Stories” on Wednesday, April 22, at 12:30 p.m. in the William M. Anderson Library in the Schoenherr Campus Center.
The event serves as the culminating program for this year’s HumanKind theme of storytelling. It will feature WSCC professors and staff sharing personal stories during an hour-long program designed to engage the audience and highlight storytelling as a way to connect and build community.
“Storytelling is an ancient form of connecting with others, and is such an enjoyable thing to do,” said John Moore, WSCC professor of psychology and the event organizer. “This event is the perfect way to end our season devoted to the art of storytelling.”
The HumanKind Series is the college’s arts and culture lecture series, offering a variety of programming throughout the year, including presentations, workshops, film screenings, art exhibitions and performing arts events.
The event is free and open to the public.
