RIVERTON TOWNSHIP — A 57-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after a Mason County sheriff’s deputy found him slumped over the steering wheel, passed out with the vehicle running Saturday, March 28, at 12:50 a.m., on Anthony Road east of Stiles Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The deputy was called to the area after a “suspicious vehicle” was reported. The suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

- 7:19 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Hawley Road, Summit Township.
- 7:52 a.m., (MCSO), damaged property — broken windshield, 5500 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 4:15 p.m., (MCSO), illegal entry into a residence, investigation continues, 4200 block of North Stiles Road, Victory Township.
- 4:19 p.m., (MCSO), retail fraud, 400 block of West US 10, Amber Township. The sheriff’s office continues to investigate a reported theft from a business involving a suspect who has been identified.

- 10:24 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 37-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County following a traffic stop, Robert and Court streets, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Sunday, March 29, 2026:
- 9:06 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of LaSalle Road, Victory Township.
