AMBER TOWNSHIP — The Amber Township Board of Trustees will consider road construction projects, utility franchise agreements and ordinance updates when it meets Monday.
The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Amber Township Hall, 148 S. Amber Road.
Among the key items on the agenda is approval of 2026 road construction projects. Board members are expected to review proposed projects and take action on which will move forward this year.
Trustees will also consider franchise agreements with Wolverine Power and Great Lakes Energy. The Wolverine Power agreement is listed under ongoing business, while the Great Lakes Energy agreement appears under new business for discussion and possible action.
The board is also scheduled to review proposed revisions to the township’s junk ordinance.
Additional new business includes a request from Home Team Housing for a resolution acknowledging its nonprofit status and a request from the Mason County Historical Society to hold a fundraising event within the township.
Board members will also discuss a junk cleanup day fundraiser request and a request for support from Communities Overcoming Violent Encounters (COVE).
