The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026:

• 6:51 a.m., a 33-year-old Scottville woman turned herself in at the sheriff’s office on an outstanding two-count warrant for filing a false police report and domestic violence, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 7:19 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Beyer Road, Victory Township.
• 8:34 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Friday, Feb. 20, 2026:

• 3:40 p.m., one-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, 3900 block of West Deren Road, Riverton Township. A vehicle lost control; ran off the road; struck a mailbox; and left the scene.
• 4:56 p.m., alarm activation, Amber Township.
• 8:49 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of LaSalle Road, Amber Township.
• 9:15 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Iris Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026:

• 1:41 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Tuttle Road and US 10, Custer Township.
• 4:26 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
• 4:47 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Lakeshore Drive and Decker Road, Hamlin Township.
• 5:06 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, River View Drive and Pleasant Ridge Road, Pere Marquette Township.
