HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — The Ludington Orioles took on the Fremont Packers at Stix/Park Lanes Monday. The boys defeated Fremont 22-8 while the girls lost 16-14.
“It was a great day for both teams today,” said LHS Coach Maggie Bates. “They all bowled well they had team high totals.
“For the boys they had the highest baker game they’ve bowled all season at a 179. They had a team high totals of 771 and a 799.
“For the girls they had a team high of 694 and a team high Baker at 139. It came down to the last couple bowlers in the last game of the night and Fremont came away with a good win but the girls put up a good fight today.
“It’s been great watching these teams come alive the last couple weeks. Our team’s totals keep getting better our individual scores keep going higher. This is great to see especially with regionals a week and a half away. I’m excited for the end of the season we have three more meats this week and then regionals February 19 and 20.”
